In preparation for possible inclement weather this week and throughout the winter season, we ask that you review your child's information in Family File listed under Arrival/Dismissal (www.HCPSS.org/Connect).

Please log into the Family File and check to see if the information is correct.

UNSCHEDULED EARLY CLOSING OF SCHOOL - It is important that you discuss the emergency plan that your child should follow if school closes early for inclement weather, power failure or other emergency. Make sure your child is aware of his/her plan to get home.
Please note that:

1. The CA/REC & Parks Before and After Care programs will not operate when there is an emergency closing.
2. The school will not be able to call parents.
3. No child may wait for a lengthy period of time for a  parent/guardian to pick him or her up as it may be unsafe to wait at school.
4. Your child will be dismissed as indicated in Family File

If schools do dismiss early, you will get an email or you may opt in to receive a text message by texting "YES" to 67587 from the wireless number on file in the Family File.
