We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow’s planned costume parade here at school. Unfortunately, the forecast is calling for rain and thunderstorms throughout the entire day and evening. Due to this forecast we will be modifying our plans for the day.
Here is an overview of those changes:
We know many families look forward to our annual costume parade and are sorry we can’t hold our usual parade and invite our community to watch, as planned. We simply do not have the physical space to invite families inside our building nor do we have the capacity to properly sign in each and every visitor to our school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Knowing that our students who celebrate Halloween may not be able to trick-or-treat due to the weather we wanted to ensure that they had an opportunity to dress up in their costumes, participate in a parade, and enjoy the day. We hope to provide our students with an engaging experience although it isn’t the one we planned for. We hope the weather improves so they can enjoy trick-or-treating in the neighborhood tomorrow night. Thanks again, SFES families, for your understanding and cooperation!
