October is Bully Prevention Month and Wednesday, October 21 is Unity Day. Unity Day is a day to make it orange and make it end! We want to color the nation with a message of hope and support to end bullying. During this pandemic, we may not see bullying face to face, but students can still be victims to cyberbullying. Please see the graphic from the National Bullying Prevention Center on Cyberbullying.
On Thursday, October 22 (no live lessons on Wed. Oct. 21st), we encourage all students and staff to wear ORANGE to show a united front and message that we do not tolerate bullying at Stevens Forest. Help us end bullying! If you need ideas about how to talk to your children about bullying, please reach out to Ms. Carlson, School Counselor, at jennifer_carlson@hcpss.org
We look forward to seeing you online in ORANGE on Thursday, October 22!
