Our 4th grade Community Action Team is working on a project to help the environment by collecting plastic bags. If we collect 1,000 pounds, the plastic we collected will be turned into a bench. We have already collected about 100 pounds.

If you would like to help us collect the next 900 pounds by donating your clean, dry plastic bags, you can send them in with your child or deposit them in the large white collection box that is located in the vestibule outside of the school office. Acceptable Plastics: Grocery bags, dry cleaning bags, bread bags, ice bags, wood pellet bags, salt bags, cereal box liners, ziploc bags, produce bags, product wrap, air pillows, bubble wrap, plastic films labeled with #2 or #4 recycling symbol (polyethylene films)
