Measures that Matter

Tue, 04/23/2024 - 10:06am

Please see the flyer at this link to review Quarter 4 data trends for Stevens Forest Elementary School.  This quarter we are focusing on attendance. Research is clear that showing up for school has a significant impact on a student's academic and social success, starting from pre-kindergarten and continuing through high school. Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) believes that attendance is key for student success. Per Policy 9010, HCPSS defines exemplary attendance as a final attendance rate of 96% or more of the student year. Please help us support a culture of showing up to school every day!

Please see the flyers at this link and at this link in Spanish to review Quarter 3 and at this link to review Quarter 2 data trends for Stevens Forest Elementary School. These measures are directly related to our School Improvement Plan and include action steps the school is taking to support our progress in these goal areas. Thank you to the many family members who engaged in conversation around this data during our recent Coffee and Conversations. We will revisit this data for quarter four on May 31 for our next Coffee and Conversation.
