We are excited to celebrate our students and their accomplishments as we close out the 23-24 school year. Information regarding end of year celebrations will come home soon from each grade level team via Canvas. The team announcement will share specific details and times. Only parents/guardians may attend these events; siblings may not attend, including school and non-school-aged children. Parking will be limited. We encourage you to walk or park at the Community Lot at the SFES Pool. Please remember:
Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have additional questions.
If you plan to attend the parent/guardian portion of your child’s event, please adhere to the following:
- Please enter the building ONLY from the Front Door
- Visitors will be asked to show ID, sign in, and wear a sticker badge throughout their visit
- Once you are checked into the building, please proceed to the location of your child’s event
- Please sign out at the front office when you exit the event
- If you choose to take your child home after the celebration, you must sign your child out at the front office
In addition, we appreciate everyone's help in making sure that our school is as safe as possible. All exterior doors are locked after arrival each morning, but to maintain safety and security it is important that we all do our part especially if you are visiting our building. Thanks for doing your part to help keep our school safe.
- Do not let anyone in through doorways around the school.
- All visitors or anyone arriving late needs to check-in at the front lobby using the buzzer. We know it is in our nature to be nice and hold the door, but please do not let in people you do not know. The front office staff will be focusing on groups coming to the buzzer and ensuring that all parties check-in properly. If it is difficult for you not to be friendly, be "friendly-nosy." "Good morning, your Justin’s dad aren't you. Are you dropping off his lunch this morning?" Their response will indicate if you need to follow the last reminder included in this list.
- Doors shouldn’t be propped open or held for people you do not know.
- If you see something suspicious, report it to a teacher, administrator, or other staff member.
