As we begin the new school year, we want to make individuals in the SFES community aware of two mandatory trainings that must be completed prior to vounteering in the school.
We recommend that you complete these trainings at home, print the certificates, and bring them into school to provide to one of the front office staff members. If needed, you are welcome to complete these trainings at the school in the front office where you will be assisted to print the certificates.

1) Parent Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering within the Howard County School System! We value our volunteers and the contributions they make to our students and schools. According to HCPSS Board Policy, all parent volunteers must complete a Confidentiality Training Course about protecting the privacy of our students, staff, and schools. Please complete this course before registering to volunteer at your child’s school. The course takes about 5 minutes to complete. Select this link to complete the Confidentiality Training Course.
