We love math at Stevens Forest Elementary and want to encourage our Bobcats to continue practicing and using math at home, especially during the month of April. Not only is April Math Month, but it is also the start of the baseball season. This is a great time of year for students to “hit a homerun with math” and to “knock math month out of the park!” Before Spring Break, all students will be given a game board for this Spring Math Challenge. The game board includes directions for how to access the online games. If your child will not have access to a device, they should ask their teacher for an alternate game board. When students return their completed game board (by May 1st), they will be recognized on the bulletin board outside of the cafeteria. In addition, students will earn 5 Dojo Points for completing the challenge. Contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions.
