Summer Meal Program
To continue meeting the growing need to feed hungry children and families in Howard County and fill the nutritional gap over the summer months, the Howard County Public School System announces its free summer meal program, which will run weekdays through Aug. 2, 2024. Meals will be served only on days schools are open.
Location: Oakland Mills Middle School, 9540 Kilimanjaro Rd., Columbia.
OMHS Food Pantry
The Oakland Mills HS Food Pantry serves the Oakland Mills community and beyond. Families are not required to have a student at OMHS to access the Food Pantry. The OMHS Food Pantry distributes non-perishable foods, produce, and bread once per month to families in need.
For our July 2024 distribution, we will be at Talbott Springs Elementary school - from 3:30-5:30pm - with limited inventory. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Roving Radish Every Friday
The SFES Parking Lot will be a Roving Radish Mobile Market site through December 20th. Each Friday Night, they will be parked in our lot from 5-7PM & provide local meat, produce, honey and more for our community. Although this initiative is provided at a cost, it is 50% off/free for families who qualify for SNAP benefits OR FARMs. See more at this link.
