It was so nice to stop by several orientations this week. Seeing the familiar faces of our students was a joy for our staff, and reminded us all of the meaningful relationships that have been fostered throughout the school year. Orientations invigorated teachers and clarified the important task we have at hand; student learning. Over the past several weeks, our teachers have been preparing for the world of distance learning.  They have collaborated, shared ideas and brainstormed ideas for serving our students.  Our student services team has also been meeting and is positioned to support students and families, recognizing the needs of families.  We all look forward to virtual check-ins this week.

Canvas will be a key component of distance learning. Please ensure you have received Canvas announcements from teachers.  It is worth reminding parents to check Canvas notification settings.  As a reminder, students must be logged in to his/her hcpss.me account to access virtual learning.  If you need a device, you can now request to borrow a device via HCPSS Connect.
