The SFES Safety Patrol is sponsoring a food drive to support the Oakland Mills High School Food Pantry. The food drive begins on Monday, March 24 and ends on Friday, March 28. Plastic bins for the Food Drive will be placed in the front entrance for students and staff to drop off their donations.
The OMHS Food Pantry accepts all non-perishable food donations, but they are especially in need of the items listed below:
- Peanut butter & jelly - especially needed!
- Cereal and oatmeal - especially needed!
- Pasta sauce and dry pasta
- Canned pasta such as Spaghettios, Ravioli
- Canned protein (tuna, chicken, salmon) and beans
- Canned fruits, vegetables, soups, and gravy
- Mac & cheese and Ramen noodles
- Shelf-stable milk and juice
- Rice and dry beans
- Baking mixes
- Potato products
- Snacks such as granola bars, chips, crackers, fruit snacks, raisins
- Larger size diapers and wipes (not food, but still needed!)
