HCPSS Debuts New Mobile Application

Fri, 10/24/2014 - 11:38am

HCPSS today unveiled its new mobile application, designed to provide real-time news, information and resources to members of its community of schools.

The school system has just launched a new mobile application. This app simplifies and personalizes information that HCPSS community members can access on-the-go. All of our news updates and alerts, lunch menus and meal payment options, and system events will now be available at the touch of a button on most smartphones and handheld devices. Documents that are distributed and discussed at public Board of Education meetings will also be available for viewing. All information can be filtered to meet your specific need as a parent or stakeholder, so that you never miss any details on specific dates of importance or new initiatives.

The app aggregates messages and calendar dates from the district as well as selected schools, so parents can now access both system and school information in one place. Our 8,700 families with students in multiple schools can now get the latest news from all locations in a single app.

We are constantly working to enhance transparency and collaboration with our stakeholders, and this is an additional tool to support communication flow. I hope that you will log on to the iTunes or Google Play stores and download the free app today.
