This week in Social Emotional Learning, students learned what perspective. Learning that perspective is how we all can have a unique way of feeling, viewing, and thinking about something. People can have different feelings or different zones in the same situation. All opinions should be respected. This is important because all humans experience a wide range of feelings; we are allowed to experience our feelings, and we should not be ashamed. Zones help people work to identify their feelings and then understand how to regulate them. Please ask your students about what they’ve learned this week; check out Zones Bridge at this link and this week in the Friday Folder to find ways to practice identifying feelings at home.
