Stevens Forest Families,
I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful time with family and friends as the pace of the summer is so much easier than the rest of the year! We have been busy at SFES preparing for the 2019-2020 school year. Please read through the following brief updates:
- We have welcomed our new Assistant Principal, Kathleen Carter to our school team! She is a pleasure to work with and will serve your children with professionalism and compassion.
- Our custodians, Mr. Johnson, Ms. Owens, and Ms. Harris work each day to ensure that the building is thoroughly cleaned for the start of the 2019-2020 School Year!
- Summer School ended. Thank you to the SFES staff members and students for their hard work. It is not easy to go to school in the summer!
- We have many new families registering! If you see a new family in your neighborhood, please welcome them, share information about Stevens Forest Elementary and encourage them to register the children for school as soon as possible. Knowing our students is so helpful in the planning!
- We still have openings for income qualified students in our full day Pre-Kindergarten program. If you know of a child who was born on or before September 1, 2015, please encourage the family to inquire about full day Pre-Kindergarten.
