As we close out the last week of summer school, we continue to prepare for the start of the 2021-2022 school year! Please see important information below along with dates to place on your calendar!

Please note the following information:

The SFES Website - has been updated with schedules, calendars, school supply lists, FARM applications and other information that will help you as you plan ahead.

Family File - Please stay tuned! HCPSS Connect/Family File is not yet open for the 2021-2022 school year. Family File will open for parents/guardians to confirm/update their information in August. HCPSS and schools will communicate to families when this is available.

Teacher Assignments - Families with completed Family Files will be able to view their child(ren)'s homeroom teacher assignments on August 26.

FARMS Application - Families may complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application beginning now. Please find the application at this site.

New Families - Families newly registering at SFES will begin to get emails from HCPSS and SFES beginning on August 3, 2021.

SFES Summer Office Hours - SFES summer office hours will be 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. At times only one person may be covering the office. Please leave a message if needed and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Back to School Important Dates:

• August 12  - Virtual Lunch Bunches, GM Code: SFESlunchbunch
  • 11:45am-12:15pm, Primary Bobcats (Pre-k through 2nd Grade)
  • 12:30pm-1:00pm, Intermediate Bobcats (3rd through 5th Grade)
• August 26 - Pre-K & Kindergarten Student Orientation, 6:30 pm, In-Person
• August 27 - Meet the Teacher & Open House, In-Person Format
  • Please drop by SFES between 2:00pm- 2:50pm to meet your teacher, see your classroom and drop off your school supplies. Front doors will be locked at 2:50pm, please arrive prior to 2:50pm. Parking will be limited, please walk if you can to help prevent overcrowding in the parking lots.

• September 13 - Back to School Night: Grades 1 & 2, 6:00-7:30pm, In-Person
• September 14 - Back to School Night: Gifted & Talented/Band & Strings, 5:30 pm; Grades 3, 4, 5, 6:00-7:30pm, In-Person
• September 25 - Pre-K Play Date, 11:00 am, SFES Playground
