We are asking you to fill out a survey that will help us plan activities and give us feedback about SFES so we can serve our families in the best way possible.

We have some new exciting instructional seminars that will be starting in January for students in grades 4 and 5.

Bundle up and join us for an outdoor family movie night on Friday, December 17th at 6 pm.

Join us Wednesday, December 22nd, all day for Restaurant Night at IHOP, located at 8825 Centre Park Drive.

Parents/guardians of SFES students who work on a federal property in Maryland and/or are a member of a uniformed service can qualify to receive additional federal funding for HCPSS by completing an Impact Aid form by Dec. 31.

This group is a combination of staff and parents who work together to develop family programs for our school community.

Our Kindergarten through Grade 5 students will be bringing home a notice with the title: Screener for Students with Reading Difficulties.

MAP home reports are now posted in Synergy for your review.

Please join Oakland Mills High School on Saturday, December 4th at 2:00pm (family matinee) and 7:30pm (evening pops) for the annual Concert for Kids to benefit the WBAL Radio Kids Campaign.

We will continue to have outdoor recess and offer outdoor lunch as the temperature gets colder and will follow the county guidelines for making these decisions.
