HCPSS parents, guardians and family members are invited to join HCPSS Superintendent Willliam J. Barnes, school system leaders and community organizations for this valuable information night to prepare for a successful academic year.

Parents/guardians can monitor their child’s HCPSS Chromebook internet usage by signing up for Lightspeed Parent Notifications to receive a weekly email summary of their child’s usage.

The Office of School Safety and Security and Risk Management reviewed county wide practices regarding school visits and it has been determined that parents are no longer able to attend recess.

Students participate in related arts daily for one hour.

The Howard County Police Department is seeking School Crossing Guards, with an immediate need for three guards at Stevens Forest Elementary.

Our 5th Grade Community Action Team is still working to collect 1000 lbs of plastic bags by November to earn a bench made from recycled plastics for the school.

The Den is our Family Resource Center at Stevens Forest Elementary.
