Our PTA recently received a mental health awareness grant from the Horizon Foundation, which has launched a major initiative to invest in support for mental health in our community.

Orange Ticket Madness is returning to SFES March 18, through April 11!

This is a friendly reminder to please monitor what your child is bringing to school on a daily basis.

As of Monday, February 11, Howard County public schools have been closed due to inclement weather on four days this school year.

Interim progress reports were issued on March 6 to all students.

Daylight savings time begins this Sunday, March 10.

Spring Assessment Dates for 3rd-5th Grades

The 5th grade students will be taking the MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) March 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th.

SFES is looking forward to celebrating reading next week March 4th-March 8th, 2019.
